GLIMPSE OF ANDROID 4.3 IN STOCK S4 AND HTC ONE

Are you a nexus lover? Then you might well aware of stock android and its direct updates to Google devices. This is what we all expected when Google announced the stock versions of the Galaxy S4 and HTC One. But these stock android versions are somewhat different from the pure stock which you get in Nexus devices. Galaxy S4 has kernel version 3.4.0 while HTC One has version 3.4.10 and Nexus 4 has kernel version 3.4.0 but it has different built.  Hence they won’t be receiving direct updates form Google. Samsung and HTC can make the best out of their hardware and OS updates will proceed from them only.    

                There have been rumors in the last few months that Google soon will be releasing new android version 4.3. This Google doesn't confirm this news yet. But stock HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 have got some flavor of android 4.3 with changed camera interface, boot animation and new Sunbeam live wallpaper.

CHANGES:

IN BOOT ANIMATION: In Nexus devices, the boot animation features a nexus logo (X) glowing with different colors.  But now there are four spinning Google color dots. The new boot animation is fresh and looks pretty good in 5 inches display. All the Nexus owners out there would be definitely thinking to boot their Nexus with new animation. To install the new boot animation, follow the below steps:

1) First download the zip file from above folder.
2) Download root browser from play store.
3) Paste the zip file under system/media folder and change the permission to rw-rw-r.  

CAMERA INTERFACE: Well there are some significant and good changes in the camera and gallery app from Google. Previously, there was a circle like shape from and users can navigate between different options by moving your finger on that circle. But now instead of circle, there is a semicircle introduced in the camera app and navigation has become easier unlike before. Also there are many new scene modes are added into the camera features. One change that I was actually hoping for in update of camera app is that the when user selects an option in camera app then there must be info about that selection. Like, it a selects auto flash mode then there must be text giving me the information which option I have selected because it is sometimes not clear just from icons. Guess what Google has got it now in the updated camera app. I wish Google keep on fulfilling my wishes.

                Also there are changes in the Gallery app. Some new and amazing editing options have been added in the Gallery to make your pictures more beautiful. Also now you can also click pictures using volume HIGH or LOW button. So don’t forget to check them out and for that you need to download the apk for it. Here is it.
